Shodin died May 6, 1995, at age 44.
He was born July 21, 1951, in Bemidji, Minn.
He was a machine operator for 20 years for Pesznecker Brothers in Clackamas. He was a 1971 graduate of Lake Oswego High School. He was survived by his father, Louis L. of Lake Oswego; brothers, Joe of Silverton, James of Portland and Vernon of Hillsboro; sister, Starr Duncan of Milwaukie.

"Ervin died of a massive heart attack on May 6th, 1995. He was an avid fisherman who could always be found at his favorite fishing hole on his days off. He was a calm, quiet man. I miss him so much. He was a good brother. I love you Bun-Bun!"
